Reminder: PCI update required for Bank Feeds and SBR Services by 1 October 2018

MYOB Exo Business PCI update 1 Oct 2018 #2

As advised in our July 2018 e-Newsletter (PCI update required for Bank Feeds and SBR Services), MYOB has advised that there will be a PCI update required for MYOB Exo Business customers using Bank Feeds and SBR Services by 1 October 2018. In addition, customers on older versions of MYOB Exo may need to upgrade their software.
 
MYOB online services are maintained within compliance guidelines mandated by the PCI Security Standards Council. In order to maintain adherence to these standards and best practices, there is an upcoming change required in order for Exo Business customers to connect to online services using a newer and higher level of encryption.

MYOB Exo Business Users of Bank Feeds on Versions 2015.4 to 2016.2

Effectively, in order to continue to receiving Bank Feeds, all customers using Bank Feeds on Exo versions from 2015.4 to 2016.2 must upgrade their Exo version to continue to use Bank Feeds.

MYOB Exo Business Users of Bank Feeds on later versions

Customers using versions 2016.3 to 2018.2 of MYOB Exo Business will need to install a patch release.

There are replacement executables (Finance.exe, Exonet.exe and ExoConfig.exe) that simply replace the existing versions, with no other changes required.

MYOB Exo Business version 2018.3.0 already includes this change, and patch releases have been made available for versions 2016.3 to 2018.2. Click on the link below to download your version.
