Enprise delivered an end-to-end MYOB Exo solution for Sektor Distributors Ltd – a substantial new import and distribution e-commerce business – from scratch in just 120 days.

Sektor imports and distributes retail technology such as Point Of Sale equipment, scanners and printers. The company provides a full suite of services around the technology it sells, including consulting, staging, implementation and training.

Sektor’s General Manager Rhys Warren says creating the new company was an extraordinary opportunity to start with a clean sheet of paper and build optimal systems from day one.

MYOB Exo populates whole business

“We selected MYOB EXO to be the core of everything. It populates the entire business,” he says. MYOB Exo pushes information to Microsoft CRM, a warehouse management system, the Enprise Service module and Sektor’s full service online e-commerce website.

“The Sektor team has been in the industry for fifteen years, and everything we learnt or strategised in that time is reflected in our new systems,” says Rhys Warren.

“The Enprise team has been fantastic. They delivered the project for us in 120 days, and provided every bit of detail we need, from customising to products to training to implementation.”

Sektor is using its website to service customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. MYOB Exo drives all content on the website, including imagery, pricing, availability and stock information. In turn, that is integrated with Sektor’s warehouse management system. Customers get super fast turnaround, and can order by web or phone.

Enprise Service Model enables differentiation

Where competitors have commodity-based business models, Sektor’s point of difference is its service, supported via the Enprise Service module.

Enprise Service module is fully integrated to web, letting customers initiate and track service via Sektor’s website.

Sektor uses Enprise Service Module to track warranties and returned goods back to their OEM; inventory; technicians’ time onsite at customers; as well as to keep track of what Sektor owes and is owed.

Orders picked within 20 minutes

Customers have their entire purchase, service and warranty history online and easily accessible. This includes any customised pricing, previous orders, returns and archives of statements. The high level of automation takes away the need to manually review and check orders. Sektor picks orders for dispatch in its warehouse within 20 minutes of receiving an online order.

A similar level of service is present in equipment returned for repair. The Enprise Service module means customers can see online what time Sektor received the repair, and even which technician it was assigned to.

The customer receives an emailed repair quote very rapidly, which can be accepted or queried with a single click. If the quote is accepted, a further email is sent to the customer when the equipment is dispatched by Sektor back to the customer. Enprise Service module integrates all warranty information for the equipment, ensuring no charge is made if the warranty is live.

Flow EDI enables complete online history

“The customisations we did do to Enprise Service were around keeping the reseller’s transactional life online 24/7. We use Flow EDI to do that,” says Rhys Warren.

Flow EDI is a data connection tool that lets Sektor link its ERP system with other companies’ ERP systems, via a link to an interactive website. Some large resellers actively require this of their suppliers.

MYOB Exo handles reporting for the Sektor group of companies, and enables a full set of accounts for each individual company.

“Diviso (a graphical data analysis tool) is working well for our reporting processes,” says Rhys Warren.

“Enprise has delivered a hugely successful end-to-end solution that is helping to differentiate us in the marketplace. We couldn’t be happier.”
