MYOB has released a new MYOB Exo module, called ‘OnTheGo’, that empowers salespeople to perform a wide variety of sales transactions while out on the road.
The new mobile app works off MYOB Exo’s core financials module. It allows salespeople to show product catalogues, complete with images; customer-specific pricing and stock availability; view a customer’s purchase history and outstanding invoices; and place orders. With smart features like a check-in button that creates a note of the visit against the company in Exo; integrated maps; and custom order templates; the ‘OnTheGo’ app is a must-have if you have salespeople in the field.
The Apple-approved app is designed for use on iPads. Customers interested in getting a feel for how the app looks and works can do so for free at the Apple iTunes App Store, using demo data only. A consulting fee applies for connecting the app to the customer’s own MYOB Exo system.
Licensing for the new app is via a platform license. The cost is $625 per named user per year, with each user able to use the app on two devices.
