Account Manager Taina Rai is using her Master of Business Administration degree to help Enprise customers get more value from their business systems.
Taina is underway with calling customers to introduce herself and offer help. She says the most common customer requests so far involve demonstrations of companion products, software upgrades, support requests and help with improving reporting.
“Improving reporting is probably the number one request,” she says.
Before graduating from AUT Business School Taina worked in the banking sector. There she began as a customer service offer before moving into wealth protection, where she worked with clients to manage insurances, investments and financial planning.
Taina studied in France, New Zealand and the U.S. as part of her MBA curriculum.
“In France the emphasis was on classroom learning, while San Diego was much more hands on,” she says.
“The massive scale of companies in the US was eye opening. The biggest thing an MBA teaches is how to think critically and really analyse a business. I now look at individual businesses through a strategic lense. I’m going to use that strategic thinking to add value to Enprise customers’ businesses."
