Enprise co-founder Elliot Cooper will take up the role of General Manager of Enprise Waikato for a second time, when current GM Gary Christieson departs for Australia.
Gary Christieson and Elliot Cooper opened Enprise's Hamilton office together, with Elliot as Waikato Regional Manager for the first two years. He handed that task over to Gary only in October last year. Now he is set to pick up the reins again.
Gary Christieson has taken up a Melbourne-based business development role with SAP consulting and services company Oxygen.
"Everyone at Enprise wishes Gary all the best – he's done a great job and earned this opportunity," says Elliot Cooper.
Elliot has been commuting from his home in Te Kauwhata to Enprise Auckland, on his motorcycle. He says he's looking forward to working in Hamilton again, and not just because it will halve his travel time.
"Hamilton is growing strongly for us, it's busy and vibrant and a good place to be," he says.
"My main focus will be delivery. It's important to get our resource allocation right – deciding who does what job, and doing follow up well to make sure the customer has a successful outcome."
He says Hamilton customers include many service-oriented businesses and light industry.
"Their business processes are a little different, and many are relationship-type businesses. I think the fact that we understand that, and have a skilled team delivering local support to support that, has helped us grow in Hamilton."
