MYOB has announced a price increase on software and Annual License Fees (ALF) effective from 1 April 2013, but special offers for the month of March can see you beat the increase.
MYOB’s March Exo Specials offer a 15% discount on any number of Exo licenses for existing customers only; a 15% discount on three or four core licenses for new customers only; a 20% discount on five or more core licences for new customers only; and four CRM licenses for the price of three for both new and existing customers. Purchases must be completed by Wednesday 27 March to get the special pricing.
The retail prices for software and ALF are set by MYOB. The 1 April price increase follows a period of significant investment in development of the MYOB Exo product line and a thorough review of the market.
As an existing MYOB EXO customer, what does this mean for you?
- Any additional licenses you purchase after 1 April 2013 will be slightly higher in price – most of the licenses have increased by about 6%. Current pricing will apply to all orders processed by 31 March 2013.
- Your Annual License Fees will increase. The ALF for Exo Finance will rise to $627.50 per user from $595.00. How much exactly your new ALF will be depends on how many licenses you have and in which modules.
It’s important to remember that the ALF subscription entitles you to the latest software as it’s released, says Client Engagement Manager Kris Schneider.
“The best way to ensure that you are receiving maximum value from the ALF is to upgrade periodically,” she says.
“If you’re not regularly upgrading, you’re not taking advantage of great new features and functionality. Please get in touch with me if you’d like more info on upgrades, latest Exo features, or just want to have a chat about getting better value from your software.”
