Software sales up 300 percent after election

Enprise CEO Mark Loveys says the company’s Sydney and Melbourne offices – which focus on selling MYOB Exo software to larger local SME businesses – have experienced a sharp upswing in new sales of MYOB Exo.

“Australian business confidence was comparatively low last year before the election and we noticed a corresponding drop-off in business software investment,” says Mark Loveys.

“Following the election we are seeing a recovery in business sentiment and we’re now very optimistic about Australian sales in 2014.”

General Manager Enprise Victoria, Gary Christieson, has seen a 300% increase in sales this year compared to the same point last year.

“We saw a lot of prospective customers hold off on investing in new business software prior to Christmas in the lead up to the election,” he says.

“There’s a better feeling in the marketplace now. Businesses are feeling more confident to invest in improving management and growth.”
