MYOB Exo User Group Forums put spotlight on digital innovation and business transformation

MYOB Exo UGF March 2018 summary

The first MYOB Exo User Group Forums for Enprise customers have been a resounding success, with more events to come later this year.

The overall aim of the Forums – which will run twice a year with joint venture partner Kilimanjaro Consulting – is to share useful and inspiring information to help customers get the most out of MYOB Exo and also enhance their business efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

Business transformation and metrics that matter

The theme for this User Group Forum series – held in Auckland (NZ), Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney – was Business Transformation and Metrics that Matter. Over 70 customers across Australia and New Zealand grabbed the chance to attend one of the free events.  The Auckland event heralds the first time the User Group Forum was presented in New Zealand. Held at Villa Maria Estate, we’re delighted to report the event was a fully booked affair.

In our digital world, businesses need to transform to survive. The Forums offered the opportunity for customers to learn more about current trends in business transformation and digital innovation. They learned the importance of why and how to measure data and then generate useful reports to help guide and drive continuous business improvement, transformation and growth.

Business transformation was defined as a change management strategy aimed at aligning a company’s people, process and technology initiatives more closely with its business strategy and vision.  Digital Transformation was explained as the application of digital capabilities to processes, products, and assets to improve efficiency, enhance customer value, manage risk, and uncover new monetisation opportunities.

Guest speaker insights

Attendees heard from trusted partners NETSTOCK (inventory and supply chain management software) on supply chain transformation, and Phocas Software (data analytics software provider for wholesale distribution, manufacturing and retail companies) on how to measure business transformation success.

Attendees at the Sydney and Melbourne events also heard from National Australia Bank’s Ivan Colhoun (Chief Economist) and David De Garis (Director/Senior Economist), who shared their economic outlook for 2018.

Customers had the chance to engage with fellow MYOB Exo users and meet the Enprise and Kilimanjaro Consulting teams, enhance their skills and find out the latest in MYOB Exo product updates and developments – including information around Single Touch Payroll in Australia and Payday Reporting in New Zealand.
